Abduction Issue
The North Korean abduction issue is a serious challenge to the lives of the Japanese people. It is also a common problem between Japan and South Korea that has occurred in South Korea in the context of North Korean espionage operations in the South. On the other hand, North Korea abused its past history for anti-Japanese campaigns to worsening the relationship between Japan and South Korea, and the information war has spread from the press to the diplomatic stage. Based on this situation, Japanese and South Korean columnists discussed how to improve the relationship between Japan and South Korea pivot on conservatism.

The North Korean abduction issue is a serious problem affecting the lives of the Japanese people. North Korean espionage in South Korea has made North Korean interference a common problem faced by both Japan and South Korea. North Korea has used historical grievances to sow seeds of division between Japan and South Korea. This has resulted in the information war spreading from the media to the diplomatic stage. In light of these circumstances, Japanese and South Korean columnists discussed how to improve their countries’ relationships by uniting on common conservative principles.

The Future of Money and Democracy in the Age of Cryptocurrency
The presence and use of virtual currency is on the rise. As of 2018, the total market value of virtual currency exceeded $200 billion and more than 1,200 different cryptocurrencies were being circulated. Blockchain technology is the way in which a virtual currency data is organized and traded. Virtual currency and blockchain technology allows users to be free from government monopolies over currency. This panel contained viewpoints from a former director of the U.S. Mint, a virtual currency issuing authority, and from an expert on how virtual currency can be legally regulated.

“J-CPAC2017 Crowdfunding Session”

This session was called for by a university student who had doubts Regarding the attitude of the Japanese Government which rejects even discussing about nuclear armament even while facing the nuclear threat of North Korea.

This discussion which stated the importance of considering nuclear armament of Japan for international peace was taken up on television.
