The Japanese Conservative Union (JCU) had the pleasure of participating in CPAC Texas on August 4-7, 2022 where Chairman Jay Aeba was invited to deliver a speech on the main stage. CPAC, the Conservative Political Action Conference, now takes place twice a year in the U.S. As in years past, this was a great opportunity for JCU to promote the U.S.-Japan Alliance and conservatism.
In his mainstage speech, Jay paid tribute to former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, spoke of the importance of conservatives in the U.S., Japan, and elsewhere working together, and the future of the conservative movement in Japan. He also had the opportunity to host an Activism Session with both the CEO and data analyst from Space View. The topic was next-gen technology and how conservatives need to be involved in the development stage to prevent the Left from dominating future social media and technology platforms.
In addition, Jay brought a delegation of Japanese nationals to meet President Trump, interviewed Governor Kevin Stitt of Oklahoma, and was interviewed by several conservative-leaning programs.
